Peekaboo
Name for something
Peekaboo is a game played with infants, where an adult hides their face behind their hands or an object, then suddenly reveals it while saying "peekaboo!" The game delights babies who are just learning that things continue to exist when hidden.
As an adjective, peekaboo describes clothing or designs with holes or cutouts that reveal what's beneath: a peekaboo blouse, peekaboo bangs.
