PFCs is an abbreviation with two main meanings.
In chemistry, perfluorocarbons are synthetic compounds where fluorine replaces hydrogen—used industrially but problematic as potent greenhouse gases.
In military contexts, PFCs are privates first class, the second-lowest enlisted rank in the U.S.
