NFL coverage
Football game telecasts
NFL coverage refers to the broadcast, reporting, and analysis of National Football League games and news.
It includes live game telecasts, pre-game and post-game shows, highlight programs, and sports journalism dedicated to the league: ESPN's NFL coverage begins at noon on Sundays.
In a different sense, coverage describes defensive schemes—how defenders align and move to guard receivers and zones: The cornerback blew the coverage and gave up a touchdown.
