Last Christmas

Regifted heart song

Last Christmas is a 1984 pop song by the British duo Wham!, written and produced by George Michael.

The song, about heartbreak during the holiday season, has become one of the best-selling and most-played Christmas singles of all time, though it famously never reached number one in the UK upon its original release.

The phrase also simply refers to the Christmas immediately preceding the current one: Last Christmas we stayed home, but this year we're traveling.
