Korean New Year

East Asian holiday

Korean New Year is the traditional Lunar New Year celebration in Korea, falling on the first day of the lunar calendar—typically late January or early February.

Called Seollal in Korean, it's one of the country's most important holidays, marked by ancestral rites, family gatherings, and customs like bowing to elders for blessings and money.

We're flying to Seoul for Korean New Year.
