I deny it
Reject the accusation
A phrase used to reject an accusation or refuse to acknowledge something as true.
The formality of I deny it gives it a theatrical or legalistic quality—you're more likely to hear it in courtroom dramas than casual conversation.
Someone might say it with mock solemnity when playfully accused: Did you eat the last cookie? I deny it!
