Harvard graduate

Ivy League alum

A Harvard graduate is someone who has completed a degree at Harvard University, America's oldest and most prestigious institution of higher education.

The term often carries connotations beyond the literal—implying elite credentials, intellectual achievement, or social privilege: He made sure everyone knew he was a Harvard graduate.

Sometimes used with mild derision to suggest someone is overly credentialed or out of touch.
