Harold and Kumar
Munchie quest pair
Harold and Kumar refers to a film franchise beginning with *Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle* (2004), following two stoner friends—Korean American Harold and Indian American Kumar—on absurdist comic adventures.
The pairing became shorthand for multiethnic buddy duos and for the unlikely quest narrative: It turned into a real Harold and Kumar situation just trying to find an open pharmacy.
