Gospel of Thomas
Non-canonical Jesus logia
The Gospel of Thomas is an early Christian text containing 114 sayings attributed to Jesus, discovered in 1945 near Nag Hammadi, Egypt.
Unlike the canonical gospels, it has no narrative—no birth, miracles, crucifixion, or resurrection, just collected teachings.
Scholars debate whether some sayings preserve traditions older than the New Testament gospels.
The text was excluded from the biblical canon and is associated with Gnostic Christianity.
