Goldilocks principle
Just right concept
The Goldilocks principle describes the ideal middle ground between two extremes—not too much, not too little, but just right.
From the fairy tale where Goldilocks rejects porridge that's too hot or too cold, chairs too big or too small.
The principle appears across disciplines: in astronomy, the Goldilocks zone is the orbital range where a planet can sustain liquid water; in economics, a Goldilocks economy grows steadily without overheating or stagnating.
