English roses
Garden flowers, UK
English roses are a type of garden rose bred to combine the full, many-petaled blooms and fragrance of old European roses with the repeat-flowering habit and color range of modern hybrids.
Developed primarily by breeder David Austin beginning in the 1960s, they're prized for their romantic, cup-shaped flowers and strong scents: The garden was planted entirely with English roses.
