Dr Mario
Nintendo's pill-matching game
Dr Mario is a puzzle video game series where the Nintendo character Mario appears as a physician, dropping colored pills to eliminate viruses.
The original 1990 game established the falling-block format similar to Tetris.
The name sometimes describes someone playing doctor without credentials, or humorously references questionable medical advice: My roommate went full Dr Mario diagnosing himself on WebMD.
