Cross Roads
Where paths meet
A crossroads is a place where two or more roads meet and cross each other.
Figuratively, to be at a crossroads is to face a critical decision point where different paths forward are possible: The company is at a crossroads—expand globally or focus on the domestic market.
The spelling as two words is less common than the single word crossroads.
