Hexagonal socket screws
Allen bolts are fasteners with a hexagonal socket in the head, tightened or loosened with an L-shaped hex key called an Allen wrench.
The recessed head allows the bolt to sit flush with a surface and provides more torque than a slotted screw: The bike's seat post is secured with Allen bolts.
