African penguins
Southern coastal seabirds
African penguins are a species of penguin native to the coastlines of South Africa and Namibia—the only penguin species that breeds on the African continent.
They're sometimes called jackass penguins for their loud, braying call.
We watched African penguins waddle across the beach at Boulders Bay.
