zero-hour
Time to strike
Zero-hour is the scheduled moment when a military operation or other planned action begins.
The term comes from military usage where operations are timed backward and forward from a designated starting point: The assault commenced at zero-hour.
By extension, zero-hour marks any critical moment of decision or action: It's zero-hour for the negotiations.
