whited
Covered in chalk
Whited means whitened or made white, now used almost exclusively in the biblical phrase whited sepulcher—a tomb painted white on the outside but containing decay within.
The phrase describes a hypocrite: someone outwardly virtuous but inwardly corrupt.
Outside this expression, whited is archaic.
