what's-his-face
That nameless guy
What's-his-face is a placeholder for a man's name you can't remember or don't care to recall: I ran into what's-his-face from the old office.
The female equivalent is what's-her-face.
Both suggest casual dismissiveness—the person isn't important enough to remember properly.
Variants include whatsisface and whatshisname.
