Unprocessable describes something that cannot be processed—handled, converted, or acted upon by whatever system is meant to deal with it.
A file might be unprocessable by outdated software; a request might be unprocessable because it lacks required information.
The term appears most often in technical contexts: The server returned an error: unprocessable entity.
In everyday use, unworkable or unusable are more common.
