unplan

Undo scheduled intentions

To unplan is to cancel or undo plans that were previously made.

Where planning involves scheduling and organizing, unplanning reverses that process: We had to unplan the whole trip when she got sick.

The word sometimes suggests deliberate rejection of over-scheduling: I'm trying to unplan my weekends and leave room for spontaneity.
