unmixable
Refuses to combine
Unmixable describes substances that cannot be combined into a uniform mixture: Oil and water are unmixable.
The term applies literally to liquids that separate rather than blend, and figuratively to incompatible elements—personalities, ideas, or categories that resist integration: Their management styles proved unmixable.
