underthink

Decide too hastily

To underthink is to give something less thought than it deserves—acting impulsively or failing to consider consequences: I underthought that email and now HR wants to meet.

The opposite of overthink, it suggests hasty decisions or shallow analysis.

Sometimes used approvingly when deliberation would only complicate matters: Just underthink it and hit send.
