unaccommodated

Lacking basic shelter

Unaccommodated means not provided for or not adapted to circumstances—lacking the comforts, adjustments, or provisions that would make a situation more bearable.

The word appears famously in Shakespeare's King Lear, where the mad king describes humanity stripped of civilization's trappings as "unaccommodated man." In modern use, it may describe someone whose needs have not been met or adjusted for: The unaccommodated students had nowhere to study during renovations.
