trick candle
Prank birthday light
A trick candle is a birthday candle designed to reignite after being blown out.
The wick contains magnesium, which stays hot enough to relight the paraffin.
Children blow repeatedly while adults laugh.
The gag wears thin quickly: We put trick candles on his cake and he nearly hyperventilated.
