Mouth hygiene practice
Tongue cleaning is the practice of scraping or brushing the tongue to remove bacteria, dead cells, and food debris that accumulate on its surface.
Usually done with a dedicated tongue scraper or the back of a toothbrush, it's promoted for fresher breath and better oral hygiene: I added tongue cleaning to my morning routine.
