sword-billed
Weapon-named beak type
Sword-billed describes a bird with a bill remarkably long relative to its body—specifically the sword-billed hummingbird, whose bill exceeds the length of its body (excluding tail).
This extreme adaptation allows it to feed from deep tubular flowers that other hummingbirds cannot reach.
