Solar exposure image
A sun print is an image made by placing objects on light-sensitive paper and exposing it to sunlight.
Where objects block the light, the paper stays pale; exposed areas darken, creating a silhouette effect.
The technique, related to cyanotype photography, is popular in art education and botanical illustration: The children made sun prints of leaves and flowers.
