Crunchy garden pea
Sugar snap is a variety of pea eaten whole, pod and all, while still crisp and sweet.
Unlike snow peas, sugar snaps have plump, rounded pods with fully developed peas inside.
They're eaten raw, stir-fried, or lightly steamed: Add the sugar snaps at the last minute so they stay crunchy.
