student satisfaction
Academic happiness measure
Student satisfaction is how content students are with their educational experience—the courses, instructors, facilities, and support services at their institution.
The term appears constantly in higher education administration, where it drives surveys, rankings, and policy decisions: The university's student satisfaction scores improved after renovating the library.
Critics note that satisfaction doesn't necessarily correlate with learning outcomes.
