stop it
Quit doing that
Stop it is a command to cease an action, typically addressed to someone whose behavior is annoying, harmful, or unwanted.
It's more emphatic than simply saying "stop" and often carries a note of exasperation or warning: Stop it, you're hurting me.
The phrase can be playful between friends or deadly serious depending on tone: Oh stop it, you're too kind versus Stop it right now or I'm calling the police.
