A stall door is the hinged panel that closes off an individual compartment—in a public restroom, a horse stable, or a shower facility.
Restroom stall doors are notorious for their gaps and flimsy latches: Someone rattled the stall door while I was in there.
In stables, stall doors often have a split design allowing the top half to swing open independently.
