staffed up
Added more employees
Staffed up means having hired enough personnel, especially in preparation for increased demand or a busy period.
A business staffs up before the holiday rush; a campaign staffs up as the election approaches.
We're fully staffed up for the summer season.
The opposite is staffing down or laying off.
