snow angels
Flop-and-sweep figures
Snow angels are shapes made by lying on one's back in snow and moving the arms and legs to create wing and gown impressions, then carefully standing to reveal an angel-like figure.
The activity is a childhood staple of snowy winters: The kids spent the afternoon making snow angels in the front yard.
