Wall food opening
A serving hatch is a small opening in a wall between a kitchen and dining area, used for passing food and dishes through without walking around.
Common in homes, restaurants, and cafeterias where the kitchen is separate from the eating space: She slid the plates through the serving hatch.
Also called a pass-through.
