Vehicle capacity terms
Seaters is a combining form indicating capacity for a specified number of seated occupants.
A two-seater accommodates two people; a four-seater holds four.
The term appears most often with vehicles—cars, aircraft, sofas: They bought a little two-seater for city driving.
By itself, seaters rarely appears without a number prefix.
