seasonableness
Fitting the moment
Seasonableness is the quality of being timely or appropriate to the moment.
The word applies to weather that fits its season—warm in summer, cold in winter—but more often describes actions taken at the right time: the seasonableness of his advice, the seasonableness of the intervention.
The word is formal and somewhat archaic.
