seal coating
Driveway protective treatment
Seal coating is the application of a protective layer to asphalt surfaces, typically driveways and parking lots.
The coating—usually a coal tar or asphalt-based liquid—fills small cracks and shields against water, oil, and UV damage: The homeowner's association requires seal coating every three years.
