route driver
Regular delivery worker
A route driver operates a vehicle along a fixed, recurring path to make deliveries or pickups.
The job combines driving with customer service—delivering bread to grocery stores, picking up laundry from hotels, or restocking vending machines.
Route drivers typically cover the same territory regularly, building relationships with stops along the way: He's been our route driver for years.
