road hockey
Asphalt stick game
Road hockey is hockey played on a paved surface—a street, driveway, or parking lot—rather than on ice.
Players use street hockey sticks and a ball or puck, with improvised goals.
Primarily a Canadian and northern U.S. pastime, it requires minimal equipment: We played road hockey until the streetlights came on.
Also called street hockey.
