rewatered
Given water twice
To rewater is to water again—plants, soil, or anything that has dried out and needs moisture restored.
The term appears in gardening contexts when initial watering proves insufficient: I rewatered the seedlings after the afternoon heat wilted them.
It can also describe restoring water to a depleted source: The reservoir was rewatered after the drought ended.
