renovated

Fixed up again

Renovated describes something that has been restored, repaired, or updated to improve its condition.

The term applies most often to buildings, rooms, and spaces that have undergone significant work to modernize them or return them to good repair: They moved into a beautifully renovated Victorian.

A renovated kitchen might have new appliances and countertops; a renovated hotel might have updated plumbing and décor throughout.

The word suggests more substantial improvement than simple cleaning or minor repairs.
