rave-up
Rowdy British bash
A rave-up is a lively, energetic party or musical performance, especially one featuring loud, fast rock music.
The term emerged from British rock in the 1960s to describe both wild social gatherings and the climactic, high-energy sections of songs: The band closed with a fifteen-minute rave-up.
Now somewhat dated.
