ram raiding
Vehicle-assisted burglary
Ram raiding is a form of robbery in which thieves crash a vehicle—typically stolen—through a storefront to gain quick access to merchandise.
The method targets electronics stores, jewelry shops, and ATMs.
Common in Britain since the 1980s: Three men were arrested in connection with a ram raid on a mobile phone shop.
The participants are ram raiders.
