rainouts

Games called off

Rainouts are events—usually outdoor games or performances—cancelled or postponed because of rain.

The term appears most often in sports contexts: Three rainouts pushed the series into next week.

A rainout can also refer to the rescheduled event itself: Tonight's game is a rainout from last Tuesday.
