radiator caps
Engine pressure lids
Radiator caps are the sealed covers on automobile radiators that maintain pressure in the cooling system.
They contain a spring-loaded valve that releases excess pressure and allows coolant to flow to an overflow tank.
A faulty radiator cap can cause overheating or coolant loss.
Never remove a radiator cap when the engine is hot.
