pyramid building
Pharaonic monument creation
Pyramid building refers to the construction of massive stone structures with triangular sides meeting at an apex, most famously associated with ancient Egypt but found across cultures from Mesoamerica to Sudan.
The term also describes any large-scale, labor-intensive architectural undertaking: The cathedral took three generations of pyramid building.
In business contexts, pyramid building can mean constructing hierarchical organizational structures or, pejoratively, creating pyramid schemes where each level recruits the next.
