putting up
Installing for display
Putting up covers acts of raising, storing, or tolerating.
You put up a shelf by mounting it, put up a tent by erecting it, put up preserves by canning them for later.
To put someone up is to provide lodging: We can put you up for the night.
To put up with something is to endure it despite annoyance: I won't put up with this nonsense.
To put up money is to provide it as a stake or investment.
