Puffcorn is a light, airy snack made from puffed cornmeal, similar in texture to cheese puffs but often unflavored or lightly seasoned.
Unlike popcorn, which pops from whole kernels, puffcorn is extruded from corn batter and baked or fried: The puffcorn melted on my tongue.
