Genital impact armor
A protective cup is a hard, curved piece of plastic or metal worn over the genitals to shield them from impact during sports or physical activity.
Also called an athletic cup or jockstrap cup, it fits into a pouch in supportive underwear or a jock strap: Every catcher should wear a protective cup.
