procurers
People who obtain
Procurers are people who obtain things for others, often through effort or connections.
The word carries a specific connotation of someone who arranges sexual partners for payment—essentially a pimp or someone who recruits for prostitution: He was arrested as a procurer for the trafficking ring.
In neutral contexts, a procurer simply acquires goods or services: procurement officers, art procurers for wealthy collectors.
